Baghdad – Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shayya al-Sudani has instructed the Ministry of Transport to take immediate action— in coordination with the relevant authorities in Jordan, Kuwait, and Turkey— to repatriate Iraqi travelers who have been stranded abroad due to the closure of Iraqi airspace following recent regional developments.
Additionally, under the Prime Minister’s directive and in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, the Hajj and Umrah Commission has begun organizing the return of remaining Iraqi pilgrims from the holy sites, ensuring their safe and timely repatriation.
